We are traveling next year to Phuket for the 1st time (woohoo). We have been to Bali many times before but thought we would try something new. Any advise on good accomodation or private villa rentals. We are after,not to big hotel but nice for families or a villa. It doesnt have to be flash but clean and safe. Also i would welcome any other info that anyone could share with us.

If you can travel Phuket in off season, you could get luxury apartments for a bargain price comparing to peak season. You can enjoy same attractions with lower price.
